I am a multimedia journalist who is passionate about connecting with people and telling their stories to the world through writing, video, and social media.

​

I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Political Science and French. 

​

Currently, I am working as a desk assistant at ABC News in Washington D.C. Some of my duties include managing the ABC News Politics and This Week social media accounts as well as field producing correspondents’ live shots for World News Tonight and Good Morning America. I also assist in gathering elements for Good Morning America news packages. Additionally, I have pitched and written stories for ABC News Digital.

 

Before working at ABC News, I gained a diverse range of work experience through several internships and jobs in college.  

I have worked as a production assistant with Penn State Athletics where I shot live games, operated chyron, and instant replay boards. 

 

I have also had two internships through WPSU, a PBS member public television and radio station located in State College. During my time with WPSU working as a radio production intern I created social media promos, edited scripts, and assembled tracks for a public radio documentary titled Time to Lay it Down: The Soundtrack of the Vietnam War. Additionally, I worked as a broadcast engineer intern where I learned about technical troubleshooting for broadcasting equipment, audio processing, modulation, and automation.

Furthermore, I have completed an internship at C-SPAN in Washington D.C. where I worked alongside their international producer where I assisted in researching, fact-checking, and logging public affairs events to help contribute to C-SPAN's coverage. Finally, I worked both on and off-air for college Emmy-Award-winning newscast The Centre County Report. While working on the show I pitched, filmed, edited, and produced news packages that aired live in twenty-nine Pennsylvania counties.
